When my business first launched in 2009, I dabbled in blogging but, admittedly, didn’t have much time to invest in the blog side of my business. One of my goals in 2020 was to relaunch my blog as a way to connect with my clients (and potential clients!) in a new and engaging way. Since we’re all at home right now with more time on our hands, now seems to be the right time to go back to blogging!
I want this blog to serve as a place where my academic writing clients can gather to build their writing, editing, and formatting skills. I already have a lengthy list of content ideas developed from frequently asked questions I receive via email.
Additionally, I will draw on my decade of content writing experience to explore the freelance writing world. Friends and clients often connect me with aspiring freelance writers who want some advice on how to get started. This blog will share that advice, focusing on strategies that have allowed me to cultivate long-term relationships with a number of clients. Don’t worry — I’ll also warn you of some of the pitfalls of freelance writing, too!
Stay tuned for more content next week!
